I’ve been a client at Skirt since it’s inception in 2001. From the get-go, you got the feeling that Maureen ‘got it.’  She turned her first store from a dirty shoe box of a flower shop, to a chic boutique with her and her family’s own blood sweat and tears. Right away, we were seeing brands that had never set foot in Bryn Mawr – Nanette Lapore, Rebecca Taylor — and all of a sudden, going to the mall was a thing of the past.  here she is 14 years later with 2 (almost 30) gorgeous stores.  Besides Maureen’s innate sense of branding and style, her success is also attributed to the “family” of stylists that work for her (most of them since the beginning).  There is no hard sell, no pushiness, no snobbiness. I can honestly say some of her staff has become my friends — solely from shopping at Skirt!  I can text an idea, thought or item to Janice and she will get back to me with a photo, price or suggestion.  They love what they do and their passion attracts my trust and loyal business. Whether you shop at Skirt once a year or everyday — you will leave with quality clothes, accessories, outfit ideas, jewelry and shoes that don’t ‘expire’.  Skirt taught me that true style is looking MY best ME.
